UK&I Commercial Business Lead
Client Brief
Following a successful finance transformation, we were asked to help appoint a new Commercial Business Lead for the UK & Ireland business. This was essentially a search for a Senior Finance Business Partner who had experience working with Sales & Marketing teams. The client placed an emphasis on completing a full market search in order to find the right candidate.
What We Did
Our research team mapped the market for suitable talent profiles around 3 key locations where SE had finance offices (Leeds/Birmingham/London). Once we had identified the suitable talent (including in competitor firms) we approached the market ultimately providing an initial list of 12 interested candidates. We then held a shortlist meeting with the client to reduce the (long list) down to 4 candidates to interview.
Interview Process
First stage MS Teams, 2nd stage in the office with the hiring team and 3rd stage in the office to meet other finance members. We also arrange for our candidate to join their Christmas party during his notice period.
