X2 Senior Management Accountants
Client Brief
As a newly signed client, the pressure was on to showcase what we can do. We joined a briefing call with the Talent team plus two Regional Finance Business Partners (North & South) who were both looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant in each team due to a new project win. They had already tried to recruit the position internally, so the role had been open for 6 weeks prior to our engagement. Due to the newly signed contract, appointing these two at the same time was business critical, however, they did not want to compromise on quality.
What We Did
Our Newly Qualified team mapped the local 'active' market to find two suitable candidates who lived next to the Birmingham offices and who had Infrastructure experience. It took us 5 days to submit our shortlist and only 19 days to complete offers on both roles.
Interview Process
Due to speed, we agreed a two-stage interview process via MSTeams with the opportunity to visit the office and meet the team before signing contracts and verifying ID documents.
